http://www.AlkalineDietAdvisor.com What are the benefits of eating a living and raw food diet?
The benefits of eating a raw and living food diet are too numerous to mention in entirety. The living and raw food diet has helped many people feel better when nothing else has worked.
Many people have healed themselves of diseases and ailments such as diabetes, fibromyalgia, acne, migraines, back pain, neck and joint pain, asthma, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, hypoglycemia, colitis, diverticulitis, Candida, arthritis, serious allergies, depression, anxiety, mood swings, heartburn, gas, bloating, skin diseases, obesity, chronic fatigue, cancers and many more. Excess weight seems to just melt off your body when you eat a raw and living food diet!
To easily understand why raw and living foods can rebalance and restore optimum health, we must focus on one key area; that is how digestion really works. Digestive enzymes are destroyed by heat. Beginning at a cooking temperature of 118 degrees the complete enzymatic content of food begins to rapidly decrease to 0% by 120 degrees. Cooking foods can also destroy other nutrients, and render natural oils indigestible. Compromised digestion, resulting from highly refined and overcooked foods, creates a ripple effect through toxic-accumulation and immune over-stimulation that detrimentally affects the physical, emotional and spiritual levels of our being.
The ingestion of a high percentage of organically grown raw and living foods is a critical foundation for the reversal of these conditions, along with the continuous gifts of health, vitality and elevated quality of life.

Sorry then, I …
Sorry then, I misunderstood!
Cool, yeah I thought you were saying the diet was extreme!
(:
I agree with you!
I’m talking the …
I’m talking the fact that they are showing emaciated people as prime examples of the raw food diet as being extreme not the actual diet itself. And also yes the way our culture has the view of eating mass amounts of meat and processed and cooked foods as normal is extreme. But it’s a world of marketing and money. People get confused with what is good for them and what they are told to eat by advertising and lobbyists.
yeahh! agreed!

extreme?
The way our culture has adapted to view eating meat and cooked food as normal/healthy is extreme, in my opinion.

You need vit. D though. I don’t want my bones broken by 40!!
The man you are …
The man you are talking about was 70 and if the interviewer was actually 8 years younger(not 5)like he said then he would be 62.If that interviewer was in fact 62 then he has defintely had surgery because he looks to be in his 50′s with his toupe and plastic face covered in make up.That show was clearly a very biased approach to the diet and was showing extreme examples. I’m not a raw foodist myself but can clearly see how this show demonised the diet unfairly when so many are benefiting from it
but he looked …
but he looked extremely aged, very thin, and very unhealthy.. the interviewer was only 5 years younger than
the man.. but he looked old enough to be the interviewers grandfather! I’m sorry, but this is what i have taken from this whole orthorexic fad raw lifestyle… the idea of eating a lot of raw things is nice, but eating all raw is a little extreme. I would enjoy life more not setting boundaries and not being obsessed about what i eat.
Yeah, I agree that …
Yeah, I agree that its good to eat a lot of raw fruits and vegetables and try to eat foods in there most natural state. But don’t get too obsessed with what you eat. It scares me when people are really obsessed and treat their diet like a religion because that is very orthorexic and unhealthy behaviour. And the diet itself is a little extreme. I saw this old man on tv the other day in a documentary promoting it how it makes you look and feel younger and more alive..
Vegetables should …
Vegetables should not be eaten as a diet but simply as medicine. Some vegetables are very nutrient-dense with disease-preventing capabilities but are also full of enzyme-inhibiting substances which counter a lot of their advantages.
Finally people …
