I see rings that say 1ct and then another will say 1 ctw, sometimes they are in the same price range. I want to buy the better quality ring, so can someone help me?
Thank you for your helpThat helps me a lot!!!
1 ct is one carat. 1 ctw is 1 carat total weight. Example: diamond ear-rings 1 ctw is about 1/2 carat each ear-ring. Bracelets and rings may have multiple stones. If you are looking at the ring, you want a balance of similar size diamonds, but pay special attention to the weight of the largest diamond. Also, cut and clarity are at least as important as the 3 c (carat). Generally for bracelets, such as tennis bracelets, you want all the stones to be as close as possible to the same size
